Facebook Changes Profile Pic Design

Facebook announced that it will be changing the appearance of user’s profile pics. The square pics will be replaced with circular pics (if you’re on Instagram, that profile pic). The changes will be rolling out during the month of August and the following weeks.

This is just one of the few changes FB has in the works with it’s UI. Comment sections are being overhauled to resemble chat thread (like Messenger) and icons are getting a cleaner, larger design for larger tap points on mobile devices. All of this is inline with Facebook’s constant push for improvement and making it easier for the world to connect.
